Standish Panthers JFC is looking for a volunteer who would be interested in becoming the new secretary. This role has become available due to the current secretary having work commitments.

• Looking after registrations forms
• Updating the database and liaising with the child welfare officer
• Emailing managers/coaches with relevant information which you receive via email/post
• Taking minutes at monthly meetings
• Liaising with the relevant person/s when the need arises
• Liaising with managers/council about pitch allocations at the beginning of season
• Liaising with managers/league rep about registrations at the beginning of the season

This role may look quite demanding and at times it can be, but the benefits outweigh this, knowing you are playing an integral part in providing football for boys and girls who may not have the opportunity to play if you were not doing this role.

You will also benefit from this role, if you have a child playing for Standish Panthers because they will have no subs to pay. There will also be a handover where the current secretary will work with you until you feel happy to take the role completely.
