My name is Clive Rigby and together with my assistant, Paul Knowles, manager and coach Standish Panthers U-14’s United. Standish Panthers are well represented at U-14 level (having two teams) and I have been with this team as it has progressed through the age groups from when they started seven seasons ago.

We currently have a squad of 16 players and we play our competitive games in the Wigan District Youth League. Weekly training takes place at Standish Community High School and this gives us the opportunity to develop our team not only as young footballers but good, responsible people as well.

We try to create an environment within which players of all abilities can develop and improve. Standards of behaviour and sportsmanship are important to us and we strive to combine this with a desire to play well and enjoy the game.
