Standish Panthers have a committed group of FA qualified coaches within the club. Each team’s manager / coach have a minimum of level 1, with a number of coaches beginning to complete the specialised youth (5-11) coaching modules.

The players of Standish panthers are the most important members of this local charter standard club. All coaching sessions are player centred, and this is why coaches work closely with the child protection officer to ensure that the player’s best interests are always considered.

Each coach is trained to create a challenging and fun environment for each training session, the child's social and emotional development is seen as important as the improvements in their technical skills and physical abilities.

It is intended to utilise the current coaching expertise at the club by offering internal coach education support. This help and guidance will be based upon the needs of each individual coach but more importantly, the needs of the young players if these are not being met.
